Here at The Whistling Kettle we are proud to do things a little bit different! We pride ourselves on making everything we can in house and in finding the best quality, local ingredients where we can't!
We offer the British cafe classics done properly, like our Full Kettle Breakfast made using locally farmed meats and always cooked fresh to order, alongside some more modern Antipodean inspired fare like our Smashed Avo, Triple stacked Maple Pancakes & Maple Granola!
Our Lunch menu is another eclectic mix of cafe classics alongside some of our favourite things to eat ranging from Yorkshire Ham & Pickle Sandwiches to home made Lasagnes & 12 hour braised Beef Chilli!
Keep your eyes peeled for our Weekly Specials, a weekly rotating menu of small batch dishes inspired by the seasons, our suppliers and, more importantly, what we want to eat that week! There's just one catch: Once they're gone, they're gone!

Enjoy freshly brewed coffee sourced from our friends at Coffee Brothers, speciality teas, indulgent milkshakes, fun matcha creations, homemade sodas and fresh juices, alongside our fully licensed alcohol selection of beers, ciders, wines, prosecco, spirits and cocktails.

Inspired by some of our favourite dishes from around the world, this is where our chef really lets loose and shows what he can do, we believe food should be a celebration, not only for an occasion, but also of who you're with and where you are when you eat it!
Dishes are served as smaller, 'Tapas' style plates designed to share amongst the table for that 'Mum's House' feel with a little extra flair. Some of our recent highlights include Cuban Style Pork Ribs in Salsa Macha, Catalonian Chickpea Salad, Basque style Cheesecakes & Carne Guisada Tacos!

We are proud to offer Afternoon Tea, served in our private Tea Room, bursting with Fresh Scones, Sweet Treats, Sanwiches, Sausage Rolls, Roasties & more!
We offer a wide range of catering options, for both in house functions and also for outside events too!
These range from classic, British Sandwich buffets with freshly baked sausage rolls, bread & home made soups to slightly more adventurous spreads inspired by our Bistro evenings and love of Latin Food & parties!
